Top 5 Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps on Android in Israel Q4 2023

The fourth quarter of 2023 saw interesting trends among the top carpooling and ridesharing apps on the Android platform in Israel. Here is an overview of their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

Gett- Corporate Ground Travel experienced a fluctuating but generally upward trend in weekly downloads. Starting with around 3.1K downloads at the end of September, the app saw a dip in early October but rebounded to reach approximately 2.5K by the end of December. Weekly active users also showed a mixed trend, beginning at 11.2K and ending the quarter at around 10K.

GoTo (CAR2GO) Shared Mobility had a more stable trajectory in terms of downloads. The app started the quarter with 2.9K downloads and maintained a steady increase, peaking at about 2.5K in mid-December before slightly dropping to 2.1K in the last week. Unfortunately, data on weekly active users was not available for this app.

Yango — different from a taxi saw a consistent pattern in its weekly revenue, with minor fluctuations. Revenue ranged between $200 and $348, peaking in early November. Downloads showed a gradual increase from 1.6K in late September to 1.3K by the end of December. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, starting at 9.8K and finishing the quarter at around 8.5K.

Bolt: Request a Ride had a declining trend in downloads, starting from 3.8K at the end of September and falling to approximately 678 by the end of December. The number of weekly active users also saw a decrease, starting at 18.3K and ending at around 12.3K.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a relatively high number of active users throughout the quarter, fluctuating between 66.8K and 86.5K. Downloads, however, saw a downward trend, starting at 3K and ending the quarter at around 623.
